The GAIA Bag
Environmentally light-weight
Goal
In our animation we set out to capture the essence of the GAIA Bag – environmentally lightweight yet full of innovative strength. We chose a visual metaphor: the bag floating effortlessly, its structure bending and shifting as if moved by the wind.
Execution
We devoted significant time to crafting the perfect 3D model and an advanced animation rig, enabling us to run realistic wind simulations.
Next came the work on shaders – Pangaia, together with MIRUM®, developed a material that looks and feels like real leather while remaining light on the planet. Our challenge was to reflect that as faithfully as possible. We created the most sophisticated, leather-like digital material we have ever made.

Inside the bag, the lining introduces another dimension – soft and pleasant to the touch. To reproduce this, we generated hundreds of thousands of tiny fibers, achieving a rich, tactile finish.

For the launch, we also produced a short teaser, allowing the client to build anticipation ahead of the premiere.
